Does Ling answer questions?
No. It asks open questions on the Topic, listens and probes on what was actually said; it supplies no information and looks nothing up.
What languages does it speak?
Whatever language the participant speaks. No language is selected by anyone: the agent hears the language and continues in it.
Does a participant need an account?
Only on the registered link. The accountless link is joined with an invite code, creates no account, and is the product's only accountless way in.
Is a Ling conversation anonymous?
The session's anonymity mode is fixed before the first conversation is held, and no participant or setting changes it afterwards. An identified session is a consented exception the organisation chooses; in either mode the participant is told at every step how what they say is treated.
Security and privacyHow long is a conversation?
A set number of minutes, chosen when the session is made, with 5 recommended. The time remaining stays visible throughout, and what was said before an early end is kept.
When can people take part?
Any time between the session being made and its end date, and more than once. There is no start time, no host and no one to wait for.
